Rugby Sevens

Going to be a real difficult game against SA. If GB lose to SA and have a bronze medal match, I hope they don't go and do what the women did, and end up going home empty handed after all their good work.

Really enjoyed Watsons performance so far. He had some equally good moments at Kingston park last year.

rugby not on red button wtf

yet they have sailing replay

I've quite often turned onto the Freeview red button to see what's on, only to see some message. Why don't they make more use of it?

Anyway, I watched the placement matches on the website stream. I figured they'd only show the actual round and medal matches on TV anyway, which is what they've done. Makes sense I guess as the placement order is not overly important.

Great display from Fiji. I'll be surprised if they don't come away with the gold.

Because they've started BBC4/BBC4 HD coverage at 1pm, they've had to give up the red button channels because the bandwidth is needed for the kids channels. It's only when they close at 7pm, they can enable the red button. Anyway, from what I've seen on the red button the last few evenings, it's never anything worth watching. It's typically been football, basketball and other crap sports like water polo and handball which don't have any Brits competing. While those might be appealing to some, I'm not interested in any of it. :p

Makes sense. Can't deny the kiddies their after school viewing. :p

Certainly agree about handball and water polo. I know very little about polo, but water polo just looks like water handball to me. :p

Edit: Doh! forgot, school holidays. I've just woken up after a nap, so that's my excuse for that slip up. :p
