Rugby union?

Enjoying the RWC so far. England actually playing a bit smarter. Scotland has a great defence and Wales we quite lucky, didn't see the Ireland game but the score tells you enough. The in-laws are in SA so I have my get out of jail free card if England implode, always good to have a back-up plan ;)

Its to give teams a minimum of 5 days rest time between each game - that's why its changed from the previous format where games were played all week in the Pool Stages
Uruguay got shafted in 2019. Beat Fijij but then had to play Georgia 4 days later and rest most of the team then got pumped 31-7.

Much better from Wales but did really just squeak over the line in the end probably more from luck than judgement. Wales should have certainly been given a warning for repeated infringements earlier but the fiji yellow card is always a yellow card at pro level. If you pull a maul down that's going forward deep into the 22 you are lucky not to get one.

Not directly watching, but got it on in the background, so haven't got commentary right now. How on earth was that head contact only a yellow?
I have to admit, I like that they're taking head contact and high tackles seriously but it seems to be a coin flip to determine whether an incident is a red or a yellow.

I have a complaint. How did ITV/STV get the contract for this World Cup, they are the worst tv station just wanting to show adverts all the time (it puts you off the game). Also the commentators are the worst they love hearing their own voice and talk all over the game which I hate. Other stations are a lot better even Prime had the last World Cup and it was brilliant. This is just what i have noticed in my 71 years and in rugby in particular since I was at school.
