Going to be a tough game for England next week. That SA looked relentless, some incredible plays.
Been some properly good games this quarter finals. Hopefully we get a similar standard in the Semis! Roll in next week

I still remember the last WC final.
Stepping over the ruck, to slow fast ball, giving the offside...to make sure England took the 3. Refs didnt punish harsh enough :/

Not every game works out like that in tournaments. The look on the Irish yesterday and now the French shows when people's expectations get a check. I agree both the pumas and england should be straight forward roll overs for the all blacks and SA, but the head collisions and heat of the moments stuff might not make it so...

I can see Farrell seeing red agaisnt SA. Faff is going to needle him all game with his usual **** housery and Farrell is going to go full retard as I reckon he lacks enough emotional discipline. More than enough examples of him not being able to control himself at club level, plus mix that in with the fact he still doesn't know how to tackle SA are going to do a number on him so see sees red.
My wife (from SA) went very quiet for the last 10 mins. I was far more confident in them, we've been beaten by SA too many times

I actually got 4/4 in my QF predictions, I dunno why but I just fancied the All Black's to come good and derail Ireland.. that and the Irish Quarter Final curse!

I don't think I've ever seen a game as exciting as the game last night... the first half felt like it was only 10 minutes long I was that entertained !
There have been some great games this world cup, depending who you support
Even as a neutral some games have been really entertaining. I think the cards have been thrown around too much, sending a player off has a big impact on a game. Fine if it's foul play but in many cases it was just a high speed accident. Award a penalty if needs be and get on with the game.

Yes, as a neautral last night it was awesome. I'm not sure my ticker would have survived if I had any allegiance to France or SA.
I mainly agree with your thoughts on the cards. Dangerous play, or deliberate/professional fouls should see cards. Although I'd prefer it to be more like you say, as the players have all been told what to expect re accidental head collisions etc I think it's fair.

Yes my heart rate went up a bit in both the England and SA games. I was hoping for a semi final with them both. As I told my wife (from SA) that's just like a normal game for an England fan, last minute nail biter!
