Rugby union?

Of course Scotland played their World Cup Final last weekend and now can't back it up, tale as old as time :p
Missed the first half and just switched on to see Wales 12 points ahead.

Clearly not the Scottish nor the Welsh squads that played England over the last 2 weekends.
Aged like fine wine!

That second half was all Scotland. Handling errors cost them first half. Would have stormed to the win if they didn’t have that poor first half.

I was busy during the England match so recorded it but didn’t bother after I accidentally saw the result. I watch rugby for enjoyment and struggle finding that in an England win without being a masochist and watching one of their worst performances.

This has been coming for years. England haven’t looked skilful enough since the early Jones years. They occasionally find a tactic and intensity that works but rarely have that all court game that separates the good from the great.

Saw some interesting stats earlier. England were ahead on Possession (52%), Territory (61%), Metres carried (897 vs 703), and total passes (177 vs 148). On another day you'd think that would result in the win, however the following 2 stats are the low light:
Handling Errors - 14 versus 8
Turnovers conceded - 24 versus 10

Oddly the stats didn't include missed tackles. But even the above handling errors and conceded turnovers is the story of the game. It shows that England definitely have an attack that appears to be working ok, but are just failing at ball retention. Hopefully that's been taken away as their key workoff item in this fallow week.
