I didn't say you did live with him, I also didn't say you should ring him now to talk about the forums, but as you said you don't make the rules, it's to be assumed that your dad does considering he's the owner, no?

This has turned into a PR **** fest though, even if on a small scale.

Spent £200 in the last 2 days with you guys, if this carried on in the way it was, I would think twice about where my wallet went in the future.

and leave the shop staff to the deals threads.

Not a good way to illustrate how important the no competitor rule is, is it? If the forums had such little impact one would think it would not be such a hard line.

So you wouldn't miss the 10%? I'd expect a lot of customers may only browse the forum rather than being members as well, I'd imagine that's something to think about and consider.

Also, please assess your definition of trolling, Jaybee's post was most certainly not trolling at all.
