WCCFTECH Source

Not entirely sure on this one given the already untimely launch of the new titan. How do you guys weigh in on this?

Sorry if there is already a thread on this, did have a look but can't see any.

WCCFTECH the site that totally missed the arrival of the fastest gaming GPU to launch this year.

If they can not spot an incoming Titan Xp launch they have absolutely no chance of getting anything Volta related right lol.:D

+1

Just a bunch of fake news. It is mostly fake news or something some Chinese guy said mixed with legit news you get from other more reputable sites to make it look like they are not a click bait site.

People still visit them from here and even quote them for some reason though. Maybe I need to go into the fake news business also, people seem to lap it up and do marketing for you by quoting your links :p

Well, if it's on wccftech then it clearly is legit news. Well worth talking about it. When it turns out to be false we can then blame NVidia as they clearly didn't do what they said they would ...

That's too late! They need to release it now before Vega arrives! Always letting me down...

If I don't see the 2080 come out by end of June, I'm getting a Vega. I've had it with all this waiting and NO information at all!

That's right, you heard me: we'd better get some Volta news soon, or else poor Volta's dead to me!

AMD have been giving me all this nice info in their Capsaicin and Ryzen-launch events about Vega. We all know it's just around the corner and has an awesome HBCC and a draw-stream binning rasterizer... Meanwhile Nvidia's high-end cards are so lame that AMD didn't even bother releasing a high end card alongside Polaris!

Nvidia had to release what now? ...THREE 'ultimate performance' cards? The last two within a month of each other no less!

And while Vega's just around the corner, still mum's the word on Volta!

No wonder AMD are having a laugh!

At this point they could release a drum with a 'Vega' sticker on it and people would still buy it, so they can be like that little drummer boy in the ad! I'll bet you Volta doesn't even have a HBCC! It's not even good enough for use as a drumstick!

This whole thing's a travesty!

It's called making serious money, a concept totally alien to AMD.

Nah that's just peanuts. AMD focused on making a kick-ass x86 chip in Ryzen and are now reaping the rewards. They didn't even bother with a high end Polaris, instead focusing on Naples which will gradually quadruple their revenue by itself, because no amount of 1080/Titans sold will match that.

And now it looks like they were able to beat Nvidia to the punch with Vega. Prey is coming out with Vega support, LiquidSky is preparing an online offering and Volta is nowhere to be found!

Come on Nvidia, give us something already!
