Obviously news like this doesn't easily get out of North Korea, and I say its rumour only. If it's not true the perpetrator of the rumour is a hell of troll as a I read it's the biggest trending # in Japan at the moment.
Information has come out that he had heart and lung complications from his obesity and he has either been in a vegetative state, or is dead.

Would be shocking / interesting if it was true, as he has no heir and his generals or another madman could attempt to take power.
Could also be a huge turning point where they are free from the fear of the Yong families death threats.

The news was reporting he was seriously ill over the last few days, but I have no idea - seems strange the media would fabricate something like that right now, with everything that's going on. He was known to be pretty unhealthy... I imagine we'll know more soon..

Wouldn't suprise me if it is true

Probably the closest he's ever been to a vegetable.

Too soon???

If so, expect some instability in the region until someone comes out on top.

Don't wish it on anyone, but crackpot dictators being removed from the world to allow people to live freely... that's good by me.

Not sure if this is fake or not, it looks it to me..
Apparently his sister is in charge. Kim yo Yong

We have a habit of thinking North Korean officials are dead though - I remember it widely reported in the media that one of his aides was killed off only for our media to be "surprised" when he was seen in official photos several years later.

Looked on twitter but all I could see was memes of those black dudes carrying coffins and dancing. I see that everywhere now, what’s it’s all about?

If you want a conspiracy theory, read about where is the Chairman to Samsung Lee Kun Hee. He hasn't been seen since 2014 when he had a heart attack, went into a Samsung Medical Centre but has been off the grid since.

There are reasons to suggest that due to the nature of the structure of Korean companies, if he is declared dead, his shares to the company would go into Probate and could cause havoc to the company and the people running things don't want to disturb how well things are going right now....so no one is saying anything!

Haha! I have no idea! My mate sent it to me the other day going "lol look at this new meme, biggest ever!"

I didn't get it.

I don't know about that, gender equality is not Korean society's strong point, or Chinese/Japanese for that matter.

I imagine Hong Kong is an anomaly with Carrie Lam?

Rumours appear to have escalated after reports from a south Korean article suggested his lack of recent appearance is potentially due to complications post surgery - but all based on speculation. He could simply be avoiding this virus.
