Secret expected to be Elder Scrolls related

Our sources lit us up with the news that Bethesda apparently has some secret announcement for E3. According to our sources, it is Elder Scrolls-related. Our sources suspect that it could be that the long-awaited Elder Scrolls MMO will finally be announced, but after some digging around, some of our sources suggest that it is more likely that Elder Scrolls V will be announced.

While Bethesda has never confirmed the existence of an Elder Scrolls MMO, sources continue to tell us that the company has had as many as nearly 100 people working on it since 2006. The company has continued to fund the development of the MMO, but the size of the team working on it has gone up and down, depending on what else was going on at the time within the studio.

As for the possibility of an Elder Scrolls V, options seem to vary on whether Bethesda has this on their radar at all. Of course, many believe that the official Elder Scrolls novels seem to indicate that the possibility for a new title was a given. Todd Hines from Bethesda has been quoted as saying that there were no current plans for an Elder Scrolls V in the pipeline.

We would not even want to guess what Bethesda might be getting ready to announce, but it would seem that the MMO is at least a possibility. We will have to wait it out till E3 (which starts on June 15th) to see what the publisher has up its sleeve.

please, please let it be TESV. Like shami said, KoTOR becoming an MMO (while I'm happy with it) is more than enough, let it be a normal (albeit amazing) RPG
 
Feels like yesterday the internet went into meltdown as trailers of Oblivion appeared. Another TES is way overdue. Looking forward to the announcement ... unless it's an TES MMO. That would be a crying shame.
 
MMOs always end up sucking. I hope it is V. Usually so much to do in an Elder Scrolls RPG - who needs noobs and idiots running around spoiling it?
 
An MMO TES would spell the end of the franchise as being any good so can only hope not.

A new TES would be awesome, though i hope to god they sort out some of the things that really irritate me about the games. That is, that any game Bethesda touches will *always* have the worlds ****tiest save game system ever. GIVE ME A SEPERATE ****ING SAVELIST FOR EACH CHARACTER! Amongst other things.
 
Yes this is all good news but lets hope they havent switched to console and yet again pc users get an unoptimized pc port that wont take advantage of most modern hardware.
 
The only thing that comes to mind that would be a successful MMO and should be an MMO is Pokemon, nothing more.

enormous amount of money in MMO's sadly but they keep trying to copy each other then add on new features, sadly all which pale in comparisson to the giants like EVE and WOW.

If say conan and war had the same finese and time put into the rest of the game, compared to their starting zones, they would have been a lot more successful but the developers just get lazy or set themselves too short a time frame.

Bethesda wouldn't fall into the time frame trap so thats one good thing to take into consideration, but it would have to make something pretty special tbh.
