RuMp3l's Weekly Twanger: A Forza 2 comp

Ok some of you want a firm deadline for the comp so I will say get your last times in by midnight tonight and I will update the table shortly after that.

I am also now open to suggestions on the following weeks challenge. What class do you guys fancy? and would you like to see mods used?
If mods are used then I think we will deff need photo evidence of PI ratings etc so no shenanigans is claimed.

Only problem with that is some people has progressed further than others so we might not be able to afford the chosen car and mods.

Perhaps we could do 2 classes, one arcade standard with only tyre pressures tweakable, and 1 with a max PI for the car, so that people who haven't unlocked the car can enter via Arcade, and those with the car can tweak it a bit..

I really dont think any mods should be used.

Should be purely down to driver skill.

Stock Cars, In arcade free run mode.

Next weeks suggestion....

Sunset Infield, Audi R8 (R1 class) :)

I set this last night, my last attempt, too busy tonight ...

I think that's the limit of my ability, I can see where I can go a fraction quicker, but just can't string that perfect lap together..

Nice time.I would have liked to have had a go beating it but i've got to be up at 5:30am so an early night for me.

Good times there, I couldn't get it below 1:48 :( though I only got FM2 on Saturday.

Next time do a really slow car on the Nissan Speedway :D

Not a bad effort by myself I must say :D

Chuffed with coming fourth.

Think we should defo stick to cars available in arcade mode and no mods. Only makes it fair.

Definately agree with that, but make it an easy circuit for next week for us beginners

7th place, not too bad. I agree that it should be unmodified cars, possibly have Tsukuba as the next track, nice and short so won't get too frustrating if you mess it up one lap.

Well congratulations to Demon for pipping i-bert to the win, I sure enjoyed watching that battle unfold. :)
Add me to your FL Demon and I will send the prize car over to you straight away. She is a real beauty and if i can get her in to the top 500 im sure you can whip her round there even quicker.

Well done to the rest of you it was good to see people chipping away at their times all week and improving so much.I couldnt get near most of that table myself.:p

I promise that next weeks challenge will be at Tsukuba circuit as I know a lot of you like it, as do I.
This week though there was something happening that I couldn't ignore. ;) I will post details here and on page 1 shortly.

WEEK 2: Silverstone National Circuit

Since this weekend is the British Gp I thought it was only fitting that we hold the TT there this week. The full GP circuit is probably a bit too long for people to have a good crack at so instead we will use the much smaller National circuit.

This weeks car is the Ferrari 355 Challenge (PI 800) STOCK. This is a great little motor and provides a number of areas for us to tweak. I would encourage(but not enforce) people to share tuning setups to help out us slower guys. ;)
Next week we will go back to a car with no tuning at all but this week I wanted to give the opportunity to those of us that like to tinker to have some fun.

You may find weeks where the challenge isn't your cup of tea but please still have a bash at it. I will do my best to fit in something for everyone eventually. :)
