Run-time error '429'

Hi guys,

trying to install a game onto my sisters computer after upgrading from ME to Windows XP and getting the following error message when loading the .exe to install the game...

Run-time error '429'
ActiveX component can't create object.


I've check the requirements and XP is defiantly supported for the game, but google only really returns results for programmers having this problem with their script, and it's going well over my head!

If anyone knows of an easy fix I'd be most grateful!

It sounds like an issue with permissions, are you logged into XP as an administrator or a restricted user?
