Running COD2 in dx9 mode/GFX suggestions

Well....

I have a 7300gt zalman cooled and it runs cod2 in dx7 perfectly, however. It runs dx9 at 20-30fps...

Around £150 to spend, rather have nvidia cause of digital vibrance

Or get the OCuk 7900GS 512MB @ £140, what you were going to spend anyway.

More RAM, and it's slightly faster. Nice, understated cooler too.

As stated above, 7900GS or x1950Pro. The 1950 pro is faster at stock and capable of HDR + AA though.

I have a 7800 Gt at massive oc'ing, close to gtx speeds, you will not be able to get enough frame rates in multiplayer in dx9, just maybe in single player. Save your money and save for a 8800 gts

ati cards have good colour saturation they dont need digital vibrance,
