Running Games From HDD / OS From SSD

Hi,

I have my OS installed onto my 256GB SSD (with a few smaller games) and I have most of my bigger games and storage on my 1TB HDD.

What I want to know is if I wiped my SSD and reinstalled my OS would the games installed on my HDD still run okay or would they need reinstalled back onto the HDD after?

Games are funny things they install crap all over the place, such as:
documents folder
userdata folders
programdata folder
registry

So most games, will fail to work if you wipe you OS, Steam and Origin titles should be OK though.

Thanks for the replies.. I assumed that as the save files where in Documents and I assumed there would be stuff in the registry aswell...

Its not a big problem anyway considering all my storage is on it and doesn't need transfered (best decision ever having SSD - OS).
