Just wondering if anyone has any advice on if its OK to keep a running machine in the garage over winter?

Someone the mrs works with claims the lube will freeze & cause it break

Id of thought it would have to get pretty cold for the weather to bust it.

I've had my cross trainer in the garage for 3years now, never had an issue using it when it's brassic outside.

No chance. I wouldn't worry about that.

Don't forget there's a massive running machine outside and it's got amazing graphics and real-life 3D effects. Much better than you can get on your 5800GT anyway :D

spray all metal parts with WD-40 every week or two. it's not worth risking on such an expensive piece of equipment when wd-40 is a couple of quid for a big can.

the cold and damp will promote rust, a garage is basically like being outside with a roof.
