Hi guys, 1 Week ago I started my diet I'm not really overwieght but my gut had increased to the point where it was starting to show through my clothes, anyway yesterday I tried one of my favorite shirts on and to my pleasant surprise it fitted a lot better than it did just over a week ago. Anyway as well as cutting out all the junk food I ran 4.5 miles 3 days of last week + done plenty of pressups & some weights ( previously I had allways done 3 miles runs + weights ).
This is my plan - continue the diet for another couple of weeks then I want to try and get build some muscle, so therefore increase my calorie intake from good sources ( hopefully)
My question is are my 4.5 mile runs going to prevent or hinder me gaining muscle ?
