I work for National Grid, there is no Gas supply issue in the UK. Stuff you may read in the media is written for hype.
We have pipelines from Europe, LNG Storage and an import facility at Grain to ensure the UK does not have any issues.

As I understand the current situation we don't rely on Gas from Russia, i.e. the recent Russia/Ukraine dispute did not affect the UK.the issue is will russia ration our supply if it gets more intense. ?
Yesterday I went shopping and nearly all the staff were wearing scarves and stuff, apparently all local businesses have had their gas cut off to conserve supplies.
