Running RAID for the first time

Hey guys,

Ive recently acquired 2 128gb M4 SSDs and I would like to try RAID out.

I am also running 2x 2TB HD's seperately. What would I need to do to set both my SSDs up in raid. Is it basically plug in > change the sata option > done?

What benefits will raid give me?

Set your controller to Raid then Hold Ctrl + i at post, it is simple to set up and it tells you how to do it. Check this out for stripe sizes and speeds, he has the same mobo and SSDs.

Using Raid you will not get TRIM so over time your performance will slowly decrease. When you have installed windows make sure you install Intel RST.
