Running triples? Post a pic and help me out!

Hi all,

I've recently updated my machine by adding a second GTX 670 and an OCZ 850 PSU with a view to going to triple 23"/24" monitors.

The main use for my machine is racing (rfactor, project cars etc) with the occasional BF3 session.

Requirements:

£200 is my absolute limit for a monitor
Need the thinnest bezel I can get for that price
5ms or lower latency
Needs to have DVI or HDMI connection
LED and IPS preferably

So far I'm leaning towards the LG 23EA63V.

Any pictures of your triple monitor setup / advice would be brilliant.

i have 3 LG 23EA63V, they are nice ;)

I have actually got one, 3x 2560x1440, but no pictures at the moment unfortunately.

Just to point out in case you haven't noticed, the 670s in that review are the 4GB variants, which aren't going to be held back by a lack of VRAM due to having 4GB, but the memory bandwidth will still be an issue.

That's what I went off on the first page of the review :confused:

What card(s) are you running?
 
Heres my previous setup. Got rid of the 2 flanking monitors though cause they had a horrible yellow tinge.
Im also getting the LG 23EA63V's because of the thin bezels

How odd. Every game tested has the memory at 4096MB for the 670s.

I've got 2x 7950s with big overclocks. The 3GB RAM and 384 bit bus is a must at my resolution.

I hope you dont mean £200 all together but each monitor?
Id go with the LG, thats actually on my list to buy for the thin bezel, IPS panel and the brilliant price. Its around £120 each arent they? My ASUS VE247H costs £150 each!
Check out Ultramon and DisplayFusion. They are third party programs that really help with having multimonitors. They do cost though but are worth it in my books!

Baffled me after looking again, maybe they mean combined?

£200 for each monitor :D £200 for 3 would be the bargain of the century!

I thought that at first, but it's techpowerup, and the review is by W1zzard who writes GPU related software so wouldn't make the mistake of doubling the RAM because it's two cards.

Why, thank you. :p I've got a nice CPU to avoid bottlenecking my cards too.
