Ruptured both Achilles Tendons

Quick to the internet! (Before anybody else posts it

)

Just found out during the night that my gf has ruptured both her achilles tendons at her works Christmas party in Harlow.

Gutted for her. Operation required to repair both tendons and 6-8 weeks in casts.

Worse is she is 350 miles away so visiting will be awkward

So that is our Christmas and New Year ruined as well.

Just thought I would share.

My mate has damaged his right archilles tendon 2 nights ago.

He woke up to the bottom of his bed soaked in blood and has no idea how he did it. :eek:

I ruptured my achilles tendon - I was still having physio 10 years later!!! Difficult things to heal (no pun intended).
