Well the poster who claims kiddy fiddling posts no evidence of it, other poster claims 'why would you make this allegation', the reply we get is 'how dare you complain there's no evidence he did X because there is evidence he did Y'. It's all a bit daft isn't it?

No evidence of kiddy fiddling, other than him grooming a 16yo as a 30yo, which is technically legal, while extremely predatory.

When you are trolling someone isn't the idea to make them look like a fool rather than yourself? And certainly spending several minutes trying to find some verse in a book you've never read and becoming a internet meme isn't the desired outcome. Like others have said, if he knew any verses off by heart he would have quoted one and made it fit his story. He's simply embraced a religion to suit his grift mwhen the law came knocking. Just like Tate becoming a Muslim.

The bloke is a wrongun. Hopefully his victims get a result in court but the odds are massively stacked against them.
 
He's doing what he always does. He tries to use big words to make himself look more intelligent. I think he genuinely believes that nobody is as clever as he is. In his younger days, the trick actually worked, he fooled a lot of people but not any more.

I'm not a great fan of Piers but he did a good job here.

No, the idea is to **** them off and get them angry. They then also end up looking like a fool when they fall for your ********, when they lose their rag over you, and then again when they lose their rag over having been trolled.
Brands aim was to make himself look all important by forcing Piers to indulge his ********. A skilled interviewer would have cut Brand off and moved things along, but Piers is just sat there looking like a **** as this wasted-looking pile of cat sick wastes everyone's time flipping emptily through the pages of a book without any results to show or even care about.
 
I started listening to the whole interview but stopped after 20 minutes or so because he started to annoy me going on and on and on. Piers asked him if he had seriously thought about being behind bars and perhaps the answer is no just like he hasn't properly read his bible.

They can't speak about the upcoming trial, but point out that Brand from 20 years ago would never have got in this sort of situation.
 
He's really bad at grifting, to the point where he makes other low effort grifters like Dave Rubin seem borderline competent.

Id have thought he had potential to be a good grifter what with him being Captain Word Salad but even the lamest grifters don't get publicly mugged off by Piers.

He's such a wrongun. Why do all these media companies hire someone who they know is a predator, to the point they have a rule he can't be alone with women while at work? He isn't Saville but he has such a long history of being a predator and they all knew.
