Russia is massive

All I think of when someone mentions Russia is a country stuck in the 90s or something, with rough looking men wearing Adidas tracksuits. Maybe I'm wrong.

Russia was corrupt when i was there in 99 and 2000, its even worse now.

I had a great time at a russian wedding in Rostov on Don though. drunk russians are great fun lol

I HATE ROSTOV WITH A PASSION! Had a terrible experience there.

Although funnily enough, a few months ago, randomly met an international model from Rostov whilst she was doing a shoot in England. I told her how much I hated her home town, and now we're good friends!
 
russia is basically what happens when you kill all the middle and upper class people in a country...

you're left with a whole nation of chavs.

not true

there's a Chinese man at work and he was pointing out what part of China he is from then I noticed a big strip to the right of china is actually Russia! It looks like forests and forests of nothing at all and it got me thinking about how big Russia and how so much of it empty!

I'm sure there must be some sort of life out there in those forests!
 
Only in the very north of China. Otherwise it's just the sea and, IIRC, Taiwan and Japan in that sea.

South Korea and North Korea both also project into the sea there.

You are right, north-east China 'bulges' into Russia. Russia actually borders China and north Korea in its far east. And the shore-line there is the Sea of Japan.

I didn't realise that until I looked much closer.

Do you think there are boats that run between alaska and russia?
