its good to see interest picking up in Rust now such a good game an many a late night trying to farm that last wood wall

Unless you wanted to role play though I think PVE must be quite boring. There is not much "E" in the game really, so it's only about building and chasing pigs..?
Once you have all the items (which doesn't take long at all!) there is even no point to shooting zombies or going to rad towns.

So many idiots on the OcUK server. Someone has now built around my house so that I can't get out.

There's a ramp on your door. You (well someone else in your case!) can break it down. I had one on my door. Place a foundation in front of your door, put some pillars to stop people building on them.

Hmm. One of our houses entire set of walls and roof have vanished. It seems awfully fast to have decayed. I don't think it was destroyed because it was pretty large and every wall has gone :confused::confused::confused:
 
Tom, all you did was whinge like a girl when some guy killed you, you shot first, you admitted it and then moaned like a bitch when he killed you. Was following it in chat. Maybe this isn't the game for you :)

+1 Not the game for you. You either moan about getting insta-killed by some unknown assailant, poor FPS, poor connection, raided, robbed, griefed etc etc

Its an alpha stage survival game.. I think you need to accept that.:p

Top tips for your survival : 1) don't live in a zombie infested area if you have poor FPS/ping, 2) don't live in a super high visibility area, such as on a road next to rad town, and in a village with sky scrapers :P

Go move to the other side of resource valley on the east coast and all will be good :)

btw for the record it wasn't me who griefed your house. But keep some c4 handy for such occasions.
 
It's just silly things like blocking me inside my own house. It's a survival game yes but I don't understand when that comes in to things?

Griefing is not acceptable for most players at all and its really hard to mitigate when building. So welcome to online gaming! There are people that do it on every server, so best thing to do is not get discovered!
 
dude never go near a public server they would make u quit in five mins

it really is a very harsh game but they do need to impliment some safer storeage things as its too easy to take peopls hidden stuff
 
Managed to have a go for about 20 minutes last night. First spawn, pitch black, walked off a cliff. Second spawn, daylight, instantly jumped by some nutter zombie and died trying to defend myself with a rock. Third spawn managed to start work on an axe. It reminds me a lot of early Dayz I really like the atmosphere, looking forward to tonight and some real time on it. Any server we all on?

griefing is part of the game it's pvp not pve
you should be thankful it's not dayz and people can not handcuff you and then forcefeed you disinfectant or steal your blood
