RX480 Crossfire issues

It should still not have a problem unless OP wants something like 8x msaa. Still don't often see much over 4gb on my 1080's at 3440x1440.

Even ran 980 4gb's in SLI last year with no issues and that was at 4K 60hz.

Anyway glad to hear its sorted OP. And yeah TX series are still rock solid PSU's.

Nice setup too, lovely looking cards those. Enjoy it :)
 
Maximum on the top card is around 72c (few c less on the bottom one) with a reasonably conservative fan profile, they can get noisy above about 50% fan speed. I have a nzxt h440 + a few mechanical drives "in the way" of the front fans so I don't think has the absolute best airflow in it.
 
That's really decent. I recognised the H440 as I have one and have to give special consideration to ventilation. My top card runs a good 10C hotter than the lower one (R9 390).
