Suicide is a bit strong.

I shop in Aldi occasionally...doesn't mean Sainsbury is going bust.

I'm sure he has a clear insight into Nvidia's finances though

I did a little digging and it appears that he is never around at the festive period, so my further investigations brought me to this image....

AMD are placing an apple like hardware check chip on the 290/X that blocks the Audio signal if you don't use the lead that comes with your AMD GPU. Not sure on the effects of this.

Saw that on pcper the other day Greg and wondered why nowt was made of it. There would be a 1000+ posts flaming thread by now if the other side had dared :D
 
I'm sure it is just to maximize compatibility, like apple lightning connector and other propietary ********.

I tell that to myself when I cuddle my red napkin.

This ^^^^ i would imagine the cable (They supply with the card) works best with the product. its not as if you have to buy that cable separately.
