RyanAir suck I would never go near them and there stupid pricing policy again if they weren't the only airline that flies where I want to go, and yes there website does suck.

the ryanair response is the type of snide response i'd expect on here if someone said something wrong/incorrect :)

-edit, see post below :o :p

Do they still try and sell you worthless tat while you're trying to relax in your seat next to some p*****-up chav? If I want perfume I'll go to a department store and if I want to buy a lottery ticket then I'll go to a shop.

I would genuinely applaud if they went out of business.

I can never quite decide if I like Ryanair for their abrasive approach or not, generally I think they're a bunch of eejits for it but occasionally they'll say something that makes me smile and I can almost forgive them.
+1

In this age of PC gone mad I kinda like that official statement - we need more no-nonsense opinionated stuff like that :D It's a storm in a teacup to be honest (self-important blogger-who-happens-to-be-a-webdev) and the statement treats it with the contempt it deserves :)

Pretty pathetic on Ryanair's part. Won't be flying with them :)
On the strength of a single statement? Get some perspective please. And let's face it - if you were going to be flying Ryanair anyway (i.e. budget airline) who else are you going to use if you don't use them?

Easyjet, BMI Baby, FlyBe etc? The problem is that probably none of them are significantly better as I suspect you are pointing out and may not go to the same destinations. Simple and age old problem of getting what you pay for.
