Ryse cut scenes black screen

Im trying to play ryse but when the cut scenes run i cannot see them, just a black screen, i can hear them just can see them, everything else just plays fine.

I tried installing video codecs to no avail, anyone have any ideas?

Ryse only works properly on the following rig:

RVE MOBO] I7 5960x[3X GTX titan black sli[32 GB ddr4 RAM[ssd samsung 1tb ocz vector[1500i watt psu[razer mamba mouse[g19 keyboard[z 5500 speakers[3008 wfp monitor

And even with it, you get like 10fps at 4k res.

It runs fine just cant see the cut scenes, its just a black screen

any ideas on how to fix it, i mean its only a video

All your drivers up to date? Also it's not video, it's in engine rendering ain't it????

What rig are you on

No its cut video for sure and all drivers are up to date, cpu is like x4 amd (pretty old but runs fallout 4 fine) gpu is a 390, it all runs fine apart from the cut scenes, u can hear the nps's but no video, it just goes black, can wait then play it fine after the cut scenes have finished

I just checked

it's not video lol it's rendered in engine, ryse is notoriously hard to run! As above you need a monster rig to play it maxed out.

Out of curiosity have you tried running the game on the lowest settings just to make sure it's none of those settings causing the issue?? The issue is seemingly very prominent on consoles.

what's your full specs? what drivers are you using with 390?

are all your drivers up to date? screen rez? is Rise completely patched? have you checked Rise's

quick gogglefoo shows others having the same issue; some say from a patch others not sure
