Hi
I think I found the issue. Every time you touch any memory setting it resets the PBO and related settings so whilst I thought I had a locked 4.0GHz it went to a single core up to 4.1 and everything else stuck within the 65w TDP. Once I noticed that I set a manual 3200 MHz ram and THEN adjusted PBO back to Disabled etc (that section back to what it was before the BIOS got "clever") and I can sustain a proper OC. So now I should be able to get my memory timings fixed.
Tomorrow though!!
So, I am in agreement with you. Good board with some pecularities to learn!! I might mess with higher speeds now I understand the way it does things! Although I will probably just buy a R9-3900X when pricing returns to the official MSRP of £479 in UK.
Thanks for your help. I have found it VERY useful keeping your settings on my phone and the Ryzen Dram Calc speeds also.
