I thought it might be interesting to compare what Cinebench scores we are getting out of our 3600/3600Xs with our various configurations. I'll go first with what I have settled on:

CPU Frequency: 4200MHz (Manual OC)
CPU Voltage: 1.35V
PBO Enabled: No
AutoOC: N/A

RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 3000 C16
RAM Frequency: 3200MHz C14
Fabric Clock Frequency: 1600MHz

Windows Power Plan: Ryzen Balanced

Cinebench R20 (Multi Core): 3765
Cinebench R20 (Single Core): 472

Cinebench R15: 1661

Include any other info you think is relevant.

(I realise this is only one metric by which you can judge the performance of a CPU)

Same RAM as you but at the time at 2933Mhz 16-17-17-17, i just got a new BIOS for my board and quick testing shows i can now overclock it, currently at 3133Mhz with the same timings, i'm impressed that you got 3200Mhz CL14 out of yours, something to aim for when i have a proper play with it :)

Let me know how you get on. I've not really played with my RAM settings too much at the moment so I'm basically using the XMP timings with adjusted clock speed so 14-20-20-20-38. Not sure whether to go for looser timings and higher speed or lower speed and tighter timings. The fiddling I have done hasn't really shown much of a performance differential in either direction.

3200mhz at cl14 is ok, but 14,20,20,20 is a joke.
The cl14 part is to pull people in that dont look at other timings, was it cheap?


Edit: also seen a think online about offsetting the fabric when you have slower ram. So set it to 1800 or try at go past some get upto 1950 and its will improve game performance

The information is all there in my post. I can't get the fabric clock beyond 1700MHz and have it run stably.
 
Cool, thanks. Cranked my SoC voltage to 1.175 and fabric clock to 1833MHz which seems to run nicely. Not really seeing any performance gains though. The best I can seem to do on my secondary timings is 16-19-19-19 (can't even boot to Windows with anything less than 19). My latency still doesn't seem great though:

For 3800Mhz C16 B Die I have to use around 1.47-48v. If I run 3733Mhz and 1866Mhz IF I need 1.45v. I can probably lower the timings or the voltage more but that is with tight sub timings.

It will change depending on your RAM kit, I just wanted to let everyone know that is not necessary to increase SOC and VDDG past those voltages because it does nothing for you.

Thanks for clarifying. I seem to have IF steady at 1900MHz now with SoC at 1.15 and RAM voltage at 1.38. Would you suggest tightening timings at the expense of higher ram speed and or IF?
