Ryzen 3600 safe voltage?

So I'm trying to overclock my 3600 to 4.4 or even higher Ghz. So far I managed to get it to 4.2Ghz at 1.3v (smt disabled), however I heard that if you go above 1.3v on ryzen 3xxx, it will noticeably reduce the lifespan on the CPU. Is this true though? Cause from some people I hear they go up to 1.4v with no probs.

My cooling is fine I think, I have a Noctua NH-D15S CPU cooler, and I have also installed 2 system fans that push cool air into the CPU, in addition to having a fan on the otherside of the case that pushes air outside of the case. I get about 45 degrees on idle and 50-60 when CPU is used a lot.
 
mine goes to just over 1.3 on auto settings 4.2 ghz boost, first i've heard over 1.3 volts damages ryzen ? I thought smt on was good for multithread

1.3v damages ryzen 3xxx series, that's what I heard, wanted to ask guys here and see if it's actually true.
I disabled smt to reduce my latencies, it reduced some of my latencies by half, and allowed me to overclock to 4.2gz instead of 4.1ghz, not much of an increase but I did notice about 4-8ms less input lag from measuring with a high speed camera too.
Kinda confused about why I get less input lag from higher clock speed, but I do at least understand why disabling smt gave me another 4ms (about) boost.

Most people I think are leaving it on auto and amd power plan 99% min cpu state 100% max cpu state.
The reading software seems still all up in the air nobody knows whats going on me included.

I don't think hwinfo is accurate is it and the max voltage peaks on that can be mini spikes and i dont think ryzen master will record max voltage you have to sit there watching ryzen master to see whats going on

depends what you're talking about as my 3600 stays around 095 -1v outside of major usage
everythings on auto in my bios apart from dram voltage 1.35v and ram timings

and use the amd power plan included in the chipset drivers is the way ive been told to run a ryzen 3600

I just ran cinebench all core mines hitting 1.38 volts according to ryzen master but everything in my bios is on auto.I was reading undervolting offset or manual voltage can harm them ?

I'd be interested to know @deama where you heard this.

The 3600 historically hasn't been the best binned chip. 1.3v to get 4.2ghz isn't that unusual. You may also find that the infinity fabric won't clock as high as other chips either.

Even on the better binned 3600X chips, a prime95 stable ~4.3ghz is often the ceiling without pumping high voltages.

I was going off of the bios CPU voltage that you can set my bios voltage is at 1.3v, but when I'm in windows and running the CPU on cinebench, I get 1.284v (I disabled power plans and boosting) on CPU-Z.

I heard this from another forum from a guy who got his to 4.0ghz @ 1.275v and he didn't want to go higher cause of that power thing I said, so wasn't too sure as this is my first time with amd.

As far as i know only ryzen master shows accurate load vcore i think cpu-z can show idle
 
1.5V max is the idling volt. When under load it will drop as current is increased. 1.3V all core OC with a heavy work load like tender type that loads all core with heavy duty output is probably the safe limit. You can go higher at a risk of degradation but if you don’t want to use the chip for every long before upgrading the feel free.
 
yes will have ago later see what i can get out of it then put it back to 4.6 got a much better single core score in R-20 than i did with my 3900x ( sold it to get a 5900x but could not get one so got another 3600 to see me through)
