Ryzen 5 1600 still worth it?

I have a 1600X and a 1700X I need to stick on MM or ebay this weekend.

However the price of a 1600X second hand is true at £70 vs £190 on a 3600. You are talking what 10-15% better for nearly triple the money.

If you truly are going budget then I don't see why you would go for the 3600. GPU makes a much bigger difference and they are so expensive that is where the majority of money should go on a budget build.
 
Use the 1600 and get a really good modern mobo. Later on drop in a 3600 or better when the prices come down.
