If product is on shelf and in stock in ample volume and you select DPD Next Day service due to it been late in the day then expect delivery the following Monday as 5pm is a little too late to guarantee a next day delivery on a day the warehouse will be extremely busy. Alternatively, you can select DPD Saturday delivery and again as long as ample stock it would be delivered Saturday.
 
@Gibbo will motherboards that have compatible BIOSes be marked? I wouldn't want to order a 5000-series CPU and an ostensibly-compatible motherboard only to find that the board needs its BIOS flashing, and needs a CPU to do it. Remember what happened with the 3000 series! If a BIOS flash is needed then perhaps you could offer this as a service - at a modest cost, of course.
 
As above my MSI B550 you just connect the power but leave it off, usb stick in a certain slot and press a button, it powers the board up and does everything. Super easy.
 
Thanks, but no thanks. I have a 3800x, and its not worth £429 for 20% improvement. I am pleased for AMD that they have beat Intel, but prices are too high. I paid £285 for my 3800x about a year ago (due to a cashback offer).
 
Please reinforce the shop server because I'll be like a 40 year old divorced dog lady trying to re live her youth by getting take that concert tickets online.

Either that or save me one? I mean, I'll pay we can sort something out right?

It absolutely will. Zen 2 was out of stock for months, and this time the demand is even greater & N7 supply is very limited as consoles, CPUs AND GPUs are all on the same node. TSMC can't keep up with this demand!

People thinking this won't be sold out within the minute are going to be very rudely surprised.

Why would you upgrade over one generation anyway? The real gains may be less and it’s the last CPU of its socket.

For someone like me who has waited until they needed to upgrade, these chips are massive.

I might get a 3800x myself if the prices drop and wait until the DDR5 platform is mature.
