Seems like the power of a 7600 with a much reduced price tag. Aside from being handy for debugging the iGPU seems just wasted silicon in a gaming build.

That was the post that flagged it for me - best I can find currently is ~105 plus 'expected £20 tax'.Upgrade advise - i7-8700 to what?
Big thanks to everyone. So it's looking like I should go for DDR5 6000 C30 ram, B650 board with a 7600/7700 with unless I can find a decently priced 7800X3D - this will give me a bit of a boost with the potential to upgrade to a 9800x3d in the future... perfectforums.overclockers.co.uk
