Hopefully I’ve managed to very cheaply pick up 32gb of Ballistix Sport RAM. So I’m now looking to upgrade my server hardware.
Currently I have an 8 core Xeon so I’d like to keep the core count the same. Ryzen has caught my attention and I’ve already added a 2700 to my basket. The motherboard however is giving me some grief. I need six SATA ports at least which is feasible if you buy some neon besparkled gaming mobo. Are there any more practical Ryzen motherboards out there that I could use? Price isn’t too much of an issue but I’d like to keep the budget under £150.
