I've cracked more than i planned to for a Monday thanks to pics of stulids fridge.

For full disclosure - you're getting an under performing stulid - his judgement is impaired by the meatsweats and excess premium beer.

Although as a 2500k owner at 4.5GHz - i'm loving that link.
 
No point with Intel for longevity.

We've seen the two CPUs generations and chipsets for this current socket.

They are bound to make the next socket incompatible by changing the pin count again.
 
Totally - i've just delayed the build - still definitely buying Ryzen when i upgrade.

I've been waiting for AMD to bounce back for a decade. I'm not missing out on this opportunity now it's finally presented itself :). Looking forward to the price war (although INTEL may not react drastically as they have brand superiority) and having a socket that doesn't disappear with every other flavour.
 
I wonder if this would look baller...
