Hey guys. I bought this.

https://www.overclockers.co.uk/team...4133mhz-dual-channel-kit-black-my-099-tg.html

And the Asus X570 TUF gaming plus. I've been into BIOS and tried enabling the DOCP profile, but it just reboots three times with the fans revving then defaults back to 2133. I updated the BIOS to the latest, but the same thing happens again.

Is there a trick to this? I am new to Ryzen and figured the memory would just work. So I'm kinda lost now.

Cheers !

Check your manual and confirm you have placed them in the recommended slots.
Set your Dram volts to 1.4 and see if that helps.
Failing that try one stick at a time and see if one works and the other fails.

I'd suggest you download ryzen dram calculator and typhoon burner as these are very useful for configuring ram and you can find some guides on how to use these on YouTube.

Between 3600 to 3800 is optimal ram speed for ryzen and your infinity fabric needs to be half your ram speed for a 1-1 which gives the best performance.

Awesome. First time really using Ryzen. I do have a Threadripper (1920x) that I got a couple of months ago but that is running on 3200 RAM and it all worked off the bat.

I did get it to 3200 easily enough, but need to start reading about the FCLK and so on. I tried the quick and dirty 3711 or whatever it is but it wouldn't post on that either.

I believe IF on auto should keep 1:1 upto 1800 on the aorus boards.

So 3600 (DDR) should just work. Timings wise you should aim for c16, c14 if you're lucky. But after than you can push for IF anywhere up to 1900, Imc dependant.

3600 is the fastest that is guaranteed to work as stated already, beyond that is overclocking the IF. I had issues posting after I input some dodgy settings in Ryzen Master, it seemed to overwrite the BIOS somehow. Uninstalling RM didn't make any difference nor manually inputting the DOCP settings, I reflashed the BIOS and it has been fine since.

Awesome. I'll get back to it later. Seems at 47 I can't spend over 8 hours on the floor lol. I crawled up to bed about 10 last night. Took some codeine this morning as my knees were the worst.

If you really want your ram running at full speed, you will have to set your fabric to 2:1, it has a slight performance inpact on anyone who is just trying to get a little more out of a 3600mhz kit, but if you get your ram running at full speed, you'll benefit rather than loose out, to do this set FCLK in the bios to auto, and UCLK to 2:1, dont bother with XMP, start with your ram at 4000mhz and set the main 4 timings to 18-20-20-44 ram voltage to 1.35v, and SoC voltage to 1.100v you should never need anymore than that for your SoC voltage.

For instance, my ram is rated for 3600mhz 18-22-22-42 1.35v, it will do that all day long quite happily, however I also know from a previous chip that my ram will clock upto 3800mhz, maybe further, ive never tried it, my RyZen 3900X fabric wont clock to 1900mhz though, so im running it 2:1, so my ram is at 3800mhz, my 3900X is at stock settings, and my fabric is at auto'ing itself 950mhz, it still preforms better than the 3600mhz variation with fabric at 1:1, win win for me.
