Ryzen master

The whole overclocking voids the warranty is a nonsense. They put it in so you can't just return every cpu if you don't like how well it overclocks, or if its overclock degrades after a year.

They have no way of knowing that a cpu has been overclocked, it doesn't keep a log of what you've done to it. The overclock setting are either on the motherboard or in software.

You also have to try pretty hard to do permanent damage to it through overclocking. Just keep the voltages as low as possible and you'll be fine
