Ryzen Or Intel Advice

For 1080p gaming either is fine. Gaming is now starting to run into problems with 4 core / 4 thread cpu’s , just as dual cores did many years ago. As long a you have a decent cpu with 6 core / 12 threads or better you will be fine. If you need a higher single core speed Intel would suit you better.

My 1700 based machine runs bf1 at 1080p between 100 - 144fps on 64 player multiplayer (fps capped at monitor refresh rate.)
