Hello

Could anyone advise whether the evga 450w bt psu would be strong enough to run the ryzen 3 1300x along with a 1050ti. Will have an ssd boot drive and a 1tb hdd for games and not much else

yes should be OK, the CPU is max of 70w, and the graphics card is also 75w, recommended 300w min PSU for that: https://www.geforce.com/hardware/desktop-gpus/geforce-gtx-1050-ti/specifications

Motherboard is basically nothing, at the end of the day is just a big circuit board routing power to different components, and the 2 hard drives you have are next to nothing either, you do need to take into account though, which ram you are going to use, and how many fans etc, LED's, RGB etc, also think about keyboard and mouse as they draw power from the PSU too via the motherboard / USB ports, obviously an RGB mouse or keyboard is going to draw more than a standard set.

Thnx for reply, as for fans it would essentially be a rear exhaust fan only and keyboard and mouse are the basic entry level steel series ones.

I made my youngest son a ryzen 2200g pc fee weeks back and with only an exhaust fan the and no oc the temps are extremely low in the bitfenix neos case.

This build willl be in the nzxt S340 thay I puck d up from ocuk b grade. Comes with a rear exhaust fan and top fan. There will be no rhb etc as its essentially an entry level gaming pc for a 9 year old

The nzxt S340 is a pretty nice case - good choice!

When it gets upgraded later the case may be the only part kept - you can add RGB manually later.
