The 3rd patch will have the Dual core optimizations, the 2nd patch has bugger all in it, so god knows why its been delayed.
Nvidia have released the Stalker drivers, 97.94's are them supposedly, but it runs even worse on them
, beta 101.02's are what you want, best drivers so far for the 8's, they run Stalker great.

They run it great for me so far.
Ive had no issues, non of this triangle rain thing, just the lack of AA thats annoying, havnt noticed any graphical glitches either, then again ive only played this game with the decent 97** and the 100** Betas.LoadsaMoney said:They run it great for me so far.

I think you only get the triangle rain when its raining (hehe obviously ), and you go into the options or whatever and then go back to the game.

Are recent Nvidia drivers still going to bring minor benefits to 6800 cards? My housemate is obviously worried that his [email protected] 2gig + 6800LE128 (unlocked pipes) is not going to be fun with this game.
He's on some official NV ones at the moment 9.7xx maybe. Will try the 101 betas for him.
