S2000 & damp roundabout

There's one roundabout with an adverse camber at the apex of the right hand turn on my way to work.
I just loove taking that a bit fast in the wet, gets the back end sliding out even on my FWD Alfa!

There's a few like that on my way home from work.

Diesel spills 4tw

I doubt motorcycle riders feel the same though....

Chap I work with who span on diesel and did >£5k worth of damage to his 3 month old VX220 isn't a massive fan of the stuff either.

Wet roundabout = :D
Diesel on roundabout =+

Yeah I agree they are a bad thing really, especially when it's totally unexpected.

However when you know for definate that a certain roundabout will have diesel on it, because it always does, you can have lots of fun with it ;)

Reminds me of the time I spun my MR2.

I'm yet to spin the MR2 however I did once have a brown pants moment one time when I tried to accelerate quickly out of motorway services. It was wet and there really wasn't a big enough gap available but nevertheless I went for it anyway, fishtailed right up to about 80mph before I got it straight. Must've been quite a sight for the people tearing up behind me :D

I was in the child killing Rev1 so that makes it ok. ;)

Went roundabout bit of throttle and it snapped. My Rev1 does have cheap tyres on it. They still have loads of tred on them and they have been on the car over a year now. :o

The S2K is known for snapping like that. It's a lot of power going to the rears, and if you put the power on at the wrong time going around a corner or round-a-bout in the wet llike that, they will bite..

Lovely cars though. If you know how to drive them, very rewarding.

or learn how to drive perhaps?
He maybe have been messing about cause he was on cam or maybe he made a slight mistake. Ive made slight mistakes when I've tried putting the power down a fraction too early and get a bit of sideways.

take a look at the point on the roundabout when he floors it. god knows what he was trying to acheive.

been watching too much BM lol

Mate of mine 2 weeks ago writ off his S2000. It snapped out on the motorway (m42) into the central reservation, then through a fence on the other side.

Both walked away fine though :)

how cool is that DC5 overtake at the end?! If only I had the money.....I dont understand why Honda dont sell them officially here :( They are so much nicer than CTR's.

A mate of mine has one. I saw it close up the other week when I went to get some suspension from him.

They have so much presence, it's unreal

This was a DC2 though.

Great video though. That Civic sounds mental
