S2000 vs TT

I have to be honest and say fox summed it up perfectly.

TT if you want is effectively a golf coupe which is for cruising around in 'comfort'

s2000 if you want a car to drive and feel rewarded after a blast.

To put things into perspective, the s2000 only got a clock in 2004 iirc, when they revised the dash dials.

Bare in mind also the s2000 requires skill to push on and not end up in a ditch. It's skittish as standard with no traction or stability control. Effectively coming from a hoonbox like a 182 which with respect a chimp could set lap records in, the s2000 will require you to learn how to drive again. It's signifcantly more involved and it takes time to deal with how lively it can be.

s2000 is a modern classic in my opinion and the 2.0 vTec engine with variable cam lifting is quite simply one of the best engines of all time IMO. Not only for performance but not one vTec engine has ever gone wrong from what they said on Top Gear a while back (not sure if this is 100% true though) but no engine failure apparently...

Couple the engine with great breaks, great chassais & good looks even now. I'd be stumping for an s2000 if it were me. Although this is just my opinion and i'm sure there are plenty out there that might say a TT.

If you want something to put a smile on your face (and I have had both) the s2000 is by far the better car at doing that ;)
