Have there been any good threads on which to get? The Nexus 5 is a bit cheaper on contract than the S4. The reviews say the N5 is better on processor but worse screen?

Which one is the better choice?

N5 Is better than the s4 imo

But LG g2 better than them both. :)

Note 3 is best if you want big screen and battery life.

What's the camera like on the n5, that's why I changed from the n4 to the s4 because the camera was so poor, folk say doesn't bother me I hardly ever use the camera, I say but I bet when you do use a camera you want it to be ok/good, however my n4 was great in most other respects and is fast as you want on KitKat.

I dont use the camera often, but when I do take a picture it would be nice if it didn't look like I took it with a potato. The S4 i supposed to have the better camera I think?

N5 I'd say, I own an S4 and since the 4.3 a lot of users having been having issues, I've had no end of WiFi issues. Intact things have got so bad they've pulled some of the 4.3 updates in the UK and US. The S4 is good don't get me wrong but the N5 is technically superior.

I've got both, and overall I chose to keep the N5, and will be selling the S4. The screen on the N5 is definitely not worse than the S4. They're different, in that the S4 has more exaggerated colours, and deeper Blacks, but the Nexus has much nicer whites, and I find it to be cleared when reading text on. You won't be disappointed with either screen, they're both amazing.

For low light photos the N5 is a long, long way ahead of the S4. So much less noise, making for much nicer pictures. In daylight they're pretty even, although the S4 obviously has the resolution advantage, if that's important to you or not.

The major issue I have with LG is support. They have a history of not supporting phones/ updating them. Has that changed with the advent of android software platforms?

Well it's a Nexus device, the software support is more by Google than LG as it's Google software. Being a Nexus, it should be provided for for a couple of years at least. Even after that, it's normally quite easy to put the latest software on (I just put KitKat on a Nexus S).

I have an S4 and N5 and will probably stick with the N5 as it's just so slick.

Might help -

Same dilemma I've got. Went in store today and played with the N5. Being a Samsung GS2 owner, I found it a little weird, but would probably get used to how it operates.

By going N5 I will save £100 on phone/sim...

Also found the N5 was about almost a cm taller than GS2.

I am coming from a GS2 as well! Any more thoughts on build quality of the N5? In reviews the N5 seems to come second to the S4..

I wouldn't buy a LG proper (not including Nexus phones here) for lack of support in the past.
