S775 DDR3 Motherboard???

hi all, merrry christmas

yes i know its a bit of a long shot, but could anyone recommend me a good S775, DDR3 mobo???

my current one the GA-X48-DQ6 seems to be the cause of my migranes, with all 8BG of ram installed system just restarts, when i take take a 2GB piece out the one closet to the CPU no problems with 6GB, well that was the case till last night now all i get is a blue screen dumping physical memory...

no problems with running 2GB on furthest away from CPU, will run memtest86 let will keep you posted on what happens

PS. dont really wanna do a major system overhaul on to i7s just yet

S775 DDR3 boards are pretty rare.

My P5Q3 Deluxe is and I'm sure the P5E3 is too.

To be honest I've had to send mine back twice for RMA, so I can't recommend it.

i bought my original board back in Oct 2008, anychance gigabyte would try repairing it

right ran memtest86 in another system results are all good, but in right click my computer and properties it shows 8GB but only 7GB useable any ideas?

ASUS Striker II Extreme is DDR3 I believe.

i reckon their something spooky going on put the same ram back in the original machine all 8GB works no problem
