Had this mobo for about 6 weeks now, up until 2 days ago all was fine.
have 3x2gb corsair Dominators. on the mobo have them set up as manual states. "for tripple put memory into a1, b1, c1 slots".
So problem is, that now only slot that seems to work is A1, no matter what tryed, dif combo, memtest each stick 4+hours (all ok), reset cmos ect. removed from case, ran the basics g card ram ect outside case still same problem. sabertooth has a memory compatable switch as well. no help there as well. Any idea's any 1, h8 the thought of the long RMA. 100% sure ruled out anything else that causing it. tryed diff g card, psu.
But still the same, nothing works still except slot A1. whats the chance of 2 slots going in 1 day?
Hoping someone can help here please.

Have you tried reseating the processor?

Btw, When the Post Office is open tomorrow I'll be returning (RMA) both my Sabertooth board and Dominator RAM for a similar problem - intermittently reading 4GB instead of 6GB.

yup, have reset it twice now. real weird as all ram will work in slot A1.
just hoping dont have to RMA, no pc for ages :(

I'd say that would have to be an RMA then, but doesn't normally take too long does it? OcUK seem really good in this area.

I have the same problem with my gigabyte board only seeing 4 gig of 6 total , appears to be slot one so just requested a RMA, wondering whether to buy another board and sell the rma replacement when it arrives though

memory controller on cpu at fault, make sure you have seated the cooler by equal pressure when tighten it down.try reseating the cooler again!

tryed this many times with h50 cooler, this week installed water cooling, using the Heatkiller Rev 3 cpu block now, ( tryed tight slack loose, u name it tryed it ) after more reseting cpu, have gave up, it deffo b1 & c1 slots.
slot a1 works
slot b1 no
slot c1 no

slot b1 & c1 speaker gives constant beeps, so rma me think now, over a week trying to solve this, seems it a general fault in some x58 mobo with no real fix yet :( a real good few have this problems over on the asus website as well.

You also have the 950 same as me , I wonder if it is a CPU issue sometimes, well either CPU or motherboard, I am at the point where I have started Rma with gigabyte but if I had a CPU to try I would be more confident of a good conclusion

D0 stepping here, 99% sure now it mobo, ram all past memtest few days back.
Rma me thinks, was hoping would find away to sort, there is a new bios for my board but not there site yet for some reason, but the 702 bios is on ther newest boards that are shipping out.
