Safari 4 released

Currently using Firefox as my main browser on OSX, is this actually faster?

Can you get a Safari version of "Adblock plus"?

EDIT: Just used it and it does seem faster...

Im getting some odd scrolling jumps in 4, seems I scroll down a a page it moves about the right pace then just jumps down.

Anyone else getting this?

Nobody else having this problem then?

Its doesnt happin in FF so pretty sure my mouse is safe.

I had the jumping scrolling once.

I've also had it crash on me 3-4 times. Looking at the stack trace in the crash report dialog, it seems to be to do with JavaScript handling.

Not that fussed, but hopefully they improve the stability soon.

I tried the terminal trick to force new tabs instead of opening new windows.
Unfortunately some things still open up new windows.

However, I downloaded GLIMS, which comes with a load of other nifty gumf too, and it seems to work a treat.
One of the other huge improvements for me is the SHIFT-CMD-M option (with glims installed of course)....which maximises Safari to fill the screen (ala firefox and ala the way windows does it).
I know the safari restore button only goes to the required page width by design, but I like my browser full screen no matter what's on it, I like to be able to whizz my mouse over to the right hand side of the screen, for example, without looking.....and be able to click and drag, knowing i've got the scrollbar and not just clicked outside the window.

So I'm now finally a Safari convert for the first time, 100%
With GLIMS installed, and also Safari Adblock.

All I need to do now is sort Greasemonkey out for some flickr scripts and I'm set.

Although I had to nip back to Firefox yesterday to use ticketmaster :( Safari wouldn't play nice with the site.

Just noticed the Window > Merge All Windows feature.

"That's hot!"

That is useful, thanks for pointing it out!

Is there any way to get more search engines in the top right box than just Google? I switched back from FF as Safari is now faster but I miss my Amazon/Ebay/Youtube searches.

nice features but very buggy for me, crashes at least twice a week during general browsing, and it cannot handle excess gif's on one page seemingly.
