Hey guys just completed a new build and I've had some issues, first i went into bios to see my cpu running at 60C, I then reseated my heatsink and played forge for about 10 minutes, I went back and my cpu was 52C. What is my next move? Thanks. (Intel Core i5-3570K 3.40GHz (Ivybridge) with Alpenfohn MSI Civetta)

When you're in the BIOS it won't use any power saving features so it's effectively a light load. Check it in windows and it should be in the 20s/low 30s.

That sounds more like the max temperature for the chip? There should be 4 temperatures underneath that, they're the ones that should be about 20-30C.

Not oveclocked, I'm considering getting a new heatsink, anyone else got any experience with "Alpenfohn MSI Civetta" I'm starting to think this is why it came free with the mobo.

It will help if you say what CPU you have?
Also, have you tried re-mounting the HSF?(With new TIM)
Have you removed the protective cellophane like cover from the HSF?(has happened to many in here)

EDIT:
OK I see that you have re-mounted and what CPU you have! No idea why I didn't see that earlier!

I have the same chip and the same cooler (re-seated with AS5) and it's hot as hell. 45 idle and 85 under load. The chip seems great, it will do 4.2ghz at stock voltage, but those temps make me a bit unhappy.

Get an Arctic Cooling Freezer Pro 13 (or Arctic Cooling Freezer i30 if it fits). Both cheap, quiet and arent all that far behind massive heatsinks at 2x or 3x the price.
