Safe temperatures for Hard Drives

I've recently moved all 4 of my Seagate hard drives into the bottom of the Antec case and they are now all very close together.

The temperatures according to speedfan are 56 degrees for every drive.

Is this too hot?

and you can see from that picture, there is a fan to the left of the container but it doesn't appear to be on and I have no idea how to turn it on.

Case is Antec P180 if anyone could tell me how to make my fans work.

I know why its not on now.

Because it is impossible for it to turn with all the cables in the way.

You dont have to keep posting every minute you know. Just edit your last post. Get the fan working, that will help.

I've moved 2 of the hard drives out of the case which has meant less cables so now the fan spins and temps are down to 37 degrees.

Couldn't you just direct the cables away from the fan?
