Safe Temps for e6300

I've got my e6300 at ~3ghz (7.0 x 430mhz) , and under load each core is around 66-67 degrees c. is this safe? and the cpu temp is 55c, measuring outside of the cores.

sounds well high mate, mines 52-54 max under load with core temp

under 60c for load and anround 40-47c idle id go for.

Yea try to keep it under 60c. Which cooler are you using?

tuniq tower

thing is, i did a stress test on css with 1.86ghz, got 135fps (1440*900 all high), when i did it with 2.8ghz, i got the same fps, and its not the graphics card as my 3200 venice managed around 170, is there a way to set one core to css, all by itself?[

Either you're using a silly amount of Vcore or your Tuniq is not on properly or faulty.

now im getting 46 and 44 on each of the cores, whilst stressing both cores @ 2800mhz full load.

Mines at 1.376 with a Freezer 7 and never gets past like 57 even after an hour of Orthos.

mine is around 32c idle and goes nowere past 56c using TAT or Orthos.

hey... its at 28c now

but im sure my body temperature is as close and i cant feel my toes :eek:

using a freezer 7 pro btw
