Safe to store computer parts in loft???

Just a very quick question, as per the title. Is it safe to store old computers and parts up in the loft??? I ahve a couple of old PCs, which I haven't been able to get working, and which are cluttering up my flat, they are basically just storage for several cards, sound cards, graphics cards etc etc at the moment. WOuld it be ok to store them up in the loft, and do I need to do anything to help protect them from the cold etc???

That's good to hear. Seeing as neither comp is currently workingI shall bung them up there and ignore them for the time being. Be nice to have them out of the way!!!

Shame cos one of the comps, ok it was only a P3 866mhz but it was perfect for my media computer till it just decided not to work after I moved, having suffered no shocks or bumps or anything ( Ho hum...
