Hi,

JUst trying to give a new lease of life into a mates pc and he has a P4 2.8ghz Northwood.

Currently running @ 2.94 210x14 fine and the vcore is 1.525 v

whats the safe voltage of these chips?
And is 3.4ghz possible.

I hear the northwoods are goodl clockers.

Thanks

First time overclocking an intel

One of these mate:

Zalman CNPS7000B-ALCU

Without the fan mate so that it's running at full speed, however i think the AC Freezer 4 is even better.

:)

i agree with the other guy at 1.65 is the safe max (some people say 1.7 on air but i think thats too high), my old one did not benefit over 1.61v so that must have been the sweet spot.

you should get 3.2ghz even if its a pants clocker.
