Safely remove hardware icon

I have Vista 64bit installed and i have the Safely remove hardware icon in the taskbar for my Hard drive (Sata). Never had this before. Should i have it in the taskbar?

dont think so what make harddrive is it? external or internal?

Seagate internal. Never had the icon before. Do you think it could be the chipset drivers?

had this with nividia 680i chipset try reinstaling the lastest chipset drivers
